Locked Up!

This is a story that I had to write for my English class I hope you like it…

The room I’m trapped in is bare and stone cold, like sitting on ice. The door is bolted shut and I am tired from yelling for help! It was obvious that no one was going to come to my rescue; if I was going to get out I would have to do it myself.

How did I get here? Well, it’s a long story however I have got the time to share it with you before trying to escape again. It beats listening to the clock continually going, Tick, Tock, Tick, Tock!

My name is Jade Elizabeth Portmon (I’m 17 years old) and I’m walking down one of London’s busiest streets; I’m walking along in my jeans and t-shirt looking for a party out-fit. It’s a windy autumn day but the sun is out. As I go past my favourite designer shop window, I notice that they have my dream out-fit. I go into the shop find the out-fit in my size. And read the label, all together is £32.96 which is most the money in my purse. My dream out-fit is a pair of red skinny jeans with a diamond belt, a black zip up jacket with crinkled sleeves and a pair of nice slip on black boots with a buckle on the side. It looks good on me with my reddish/chestnut hair. I pay and leave with an empty purse but a smile on my face.

Its 10:45 and I am on my way back to my apartment a block away down in Tudor way, when I heard some muttering and laughing. There were 4 of them all about 20 years old. I walked faster but they caught up with me. I’m afraid I have never had this happen to me before. What do I do? I as they split up so that two of them were in front, two behind me, they had me and I Knew it. All that was left to do was try to act as natural as possible. Ahhhhhh…

I woke up and my hands and feet were strapped to a chair by the feet and my hands tide up to the arms and legs of the chair, making it hard to move around. I felt really strange and the last thing that I can remember is the taller one putting their hand round my mouth with a piece of cloth and then me falling to the ground. As I started thinking about I felt a sudden need to cry but I held it back. Just then they opened the door and walk in laughing at something one of them had said when they saw me awake and stopped laughing came over and said “hello darling, how’s your stay been” as he said a smile rushed to his face like a race car to the finished line. “Well, errr… what do you think” I said trying not to sound as scared as I was, after I said that another one came over “Well, I can soon find somewhere else to put you”.

And that is where I am now; stuck in a cold tiny room with barred windows, however I am no longer strapped to a chair, also during the 4 weeks that I have been here I have managed to brake one of the bars making a big enough gap for me to squeeze out of. The reason that I have waited till this time to escape is too ensure that I have time to get away. I have tried before and they caught me, slapped me a couple times, and then put me back. So, I am going to escape now as one of them is on a break somewhere, another one is a sleep at the end of the hall and the other two are in the main building talking and drinking heavily. I checked that the coast was clear then climbed out the window, I ran as fast as I could towards the gate. I ran through the gate, pulling the £10.00 out of my back pocket, glad one of my captures had dropped it. Then jumped into a taxi, I sat back and burst out laughing. Partly with relief and partly at the thought of them discovering I was gone. Tomorrow I will go to the police but right now I just need to get home and get a good night sleep for the first time in 4 weeks.

THE END
