Trapped

This is the draft for my English creative writing…

Imprisoned in a tiny room, crowded with darkness; it had a soft cushiony outline that felt good against her skin, but it felt like a box none the less. The room itself wasn’t warm and the room wasn’t cold yet she felt cold inside, like her core had frozen, her blood didn’t feel like it was rushing through her. She didn’t feel alive.

Delicately she lay there, silence everywhere. Her tiny brain wondering what could have possibly happened. Where are my mummy and daddy? Where am i? Why am i even here? Endless amounts of questions but not a single answer.

The box was so tiny it made her feel claustrophobic, it was just big enough for her to lay there static. It was as though it had been built especially for her. Her simple head lay gently upon a pillow of rose petals, face full of curiosity, she had a very simple, young, pure and innocent face Her golden hair spread out around her like a halo.

No idea whether it was winter or summer, morning or night, life or death. No idea of anything. She felt completely clueless, idiotic. She didn’t even know how long she had been there for. So many unanswered questions.

It was damp, the box smelt of the rose petals that lay around her, the slight hint of decaying flesh that lingered in the air. There wasn’t a single thing that was good about any of this, she tried to think of her life, but she hadn’t exactly done much, i mean who has at the young age of 7!? She remembered the funfairs; with candyfloss and creepy clowns crawling around and laughter everywhere. there is no laughter here. Wherever here is.

laying there drowning in her uncertainty she felt lost. Overwhelmed with the situation she was in, however although there was no sign of rescue, and there didn’t appear to be any means of escape yet she didn’t feel fear, just emptiness and a sense of being abandoned. A tear slowly slid down her soft skin, followed by an army of more and more. Yet she continued to make no sound!

Around her she could feel pieces of paper, roses, cards, pricking her dainty fingers she came across a familiar toy, its furry exterior with button eyes and a silky bow tie it was her teddy, she took him everywhere, he made her feel safe. She held it with a tight grip as though nothing could break her hold. Not even the devil could scare her enough to make her let go.

She lay there, confused why had she been put in a box field with her belongings and card for her!? who would do this?

The air around her began getting thinner and thinner but she realised she wasn’t breathing in the air around her she wasn’t breathing at all. It dawned on her. In a matter of seconds her entire world had flipped, she wasn’t in a  box. She was in a coffin! She then realised the dream of her mothers tears the never ending fall down the well wasn’t a dream after all.

She was dead…

Christmas

I really can’t wait until the Christmas holidays, i need a break from all the drama and bitchin that goes on at my school, its so pathetic! and I'm  fed up with the tests and the teachers and the homework plus endless revision also it’ll be nice being able to stay in bed and not have to wear a uniform! being able to hang out with my friends and have Christmas day with my family!

Half term

YAY!!!!  It is half term, finally! and we are currently having about 90mph winds! However my school doesn't quite understand what a half term should be about so therefore i know have to take 5 photos of someone modelling for me so that i can create a music magazine, then do all my research for my ICT assessment when i get back!

On the bright side i got a party thing on Wednesday which will hopefully be amazing with lots of dancing!! and it’s Halloween soon which means horror films! and no school uniform or being in a building all day field with people i don't like and pretend to like you! yeah, I'm not a very people person.. haha

Updates

I haven't been on here in quite a while… its been over a year i think but I’m not to sure!?

So here are some updates:

  • I am now in year 10
  • I am doing my options which are: Graphics, Media, I.T GCSE and P.E full course as well as English, Maths and top set double Science. i did get into triple but dropped it.
  • I am now a Gymnast coach one day a week.
  • I also help out at Football on a Saturday morning
  • I still love music, however i now like listening to is still Rihanna and P!nk, but i mostly listen to the Now that's what i call music albums, i like 80-85
  • I also like all the weird older songs, for example at the moment i am addicted to Eiffel 45 – I’m blue, you should look it up on YouTube!
  • I also have started getting into drawing pictures, at the moment i like drawing Disney characters and might post some of the better ones on here, but not sure at the moment
  • I have got my own trampoline now, which i love and would live on it if it wasn't so damn cold
  • I’m in the middle of a house extension and I'm currently missing a wall from my bedroom, so now my room is absolutely freezing!! however it will all be worth it as soon i will have my own bedroom and en-suite!

So there you go, a little update as to what I am doing at the moment knowing me I have most likely forgotten something so may have to add that later but I will hopefully be able to use this more often now so there shouldn't be such a big gap between my posts.

Locked Up!

This is a story that I had to write for my English class I hope you like it…

The room I’m trapped in is bare and stone cold, like sitting on ice. The door is bolted shut and I am tired from yelling for help! It was obvious that no one was going to come to my rescue; if I was going to get out I would have to do it myself.

How did I get here? Well, it’s a long story however I have got the time to share it with you before trying to escape again. It beats listening to the clock continually going, Tick, Tock, Tick, Tock!

My name is Jade Elizabeth Portmon (I’m 17 years old) and I’m walking down one of London’s busiest streets; I’m walking along in my jeans and t-shirt looking for a party out-fit. It’s a windy autumn day but the sun is out. As I go past my favourite designer shop window, I notice that they have my dream out-fit. I go into the shop find the out-fit in my size. And read the label, all together is £32.96 which is most the money in my purse. My dream out-fit is a pair of red skinny jeans with a diamond belt, a black zip up jacket with crinkled sleeves and a pair of nice slip on black boots with a buckle on the side. It looks good on me with my reddish/chestnut hair. I pay and leave with an empty purse but a smile on my face.

Its 10:45 and I am on my way back to my apartment a block away down in Tudor way, when I heard some muttering and laughing. There were 4 of them all about 20 years old. I walked faster but they caught up with me. I’m afraid I have never had this happen to me before. What do I do? I as they split up so that two of them were in front, two behind me, they had me and I Knew it. All that was left to do was try to act as natural as possible. Ahhhhhh…

I woke up and my hands and feet were strapped to a chair by the feet and my hands tide up to the arms and legs of the chair, making it hard to move around. I felt really strange and the last thing that I can remember is the taller one putting their hand round my mouth with a piece of cloth and then me falling to the ground. As I started thinking about I felt a sudden need to cry but I held it back. Just then they opened the door and walk in laughing at something one of them had said when they saw me awake and stopped laughing came over and said “hello darling, how’s your stay been” as he said a smile rushed to his face like a race car to the finished line. “Well, errr… what do you think” I said trying not to sound as scared as I was, after I said that another one came over “Well, I can soon find somewhere else to put you”.

And that is where I am now; stuck in a cold tiny room with barred windows, however I am no longer strapped to a chair, also during the 4 weeks that I have been here I have managed to brake one of the bars making a big enough gap for me to squeeze out of. The reason that I have waited till this time to escape is too ensure that I have time to get away. I have tried before and they caught me, slapped me a couple times, and then put me back. So, I am going to escape now as one of them is on a break somewhere, another one is a sleep at the end of the hall and the other two are in the main building talking and drinking heavily. I checked that the coast was clear then climbed out the window, I ran as fast as I could towards the gate. I ran through the gate, pulling the £10.00 out of my back pocket, glad one of my captures had dropped it. Then jumped into a taxi, I sat back and burst out laughing. Partly with relief and partly at the thought of them discovering I was gone. Tomorrow I will go to the police but right now I just need to get home and get a good night sleep for the first time in 4 weeks.

THE END
